About This Site

highered.jpg (13618 bytes)

You have found the place where thousands of people like you are preparing for their high school equivalency diploma (GED) and carving out a path to college.

This program is not a stroll in the park. There are 74 study units covering math, social studies, science, literature, and English grammar and composition. You are required to keep detailed learning journals and work on projects with your online classmates.

It is all free, from beginning to end. There are no hidden fees or requests for credit-card information. You must supply your own paper-and-pencil supplies and buy a GED-approved calculator (about $10). But we don't charge you anything, and we don't try to sell you anything.

And it works ... if you do

I took this course, and it was great! Yesterday afternoon I found out that I have an almost full merit based scholarship to Sarah Lawrence once I graduate from my two year college in May. This site gave me huge amounts of confidence before I took the GED, and I credit the high scores I got on the tests as a huge reason I've done so well in college thus far. So keep on working everyone! You can really get everything you've ever wanted if you work at it.
